We Support Rescue
We host weekly adoption events at our stores and have in-store cat adoption centers in many locations. We provide food and litter for as many groups as we can (including all 1,100 animals at San Francisco Animal Care and Control) and have raised millions of dollars for homeless pets.
Lead Associates, Assistant Managers and Managers each have monthly meetings with our merchant team to give direct feedback on products. Company owners Mark & Michael are in stores every weekend.
Our company motto is “if we wouldn’t feed it to our pets, we won’t sell it for yours.” That means we don’t sell food or treats made in China, or anything with artificial ingredients or unspecified byproducts. We test all our toys for lead.
